Hey mate! here's your answer!
________________________

Firstly, let's take the LCM , so that the denominators will become same,

 = \frac{5}{9}

 = - (\frac{5 \times 7}{9 \times 7})

then,

 = - \frac{35}{63}

now,

 - \frac{5}{7} \\ \\ = - ( \frac{5 \times 9}{7 \times 9} ) \\ \\ = - \frac{45}{63}

we know that, smaller negative integers are greater than larger negative integers,

so,

 (- \frac{35}{63} )\: is \: greater \: than \: ( - \frac{45}{63} )

=>  -(\frac{5}{9}) >  - (\frac{5}{7})

Haii there !!

We will do it by taking LCM

So, it's first fraction

- 5/9

= - ( 5 x 7 ) / ( 9 x 7 )

= -35/63

= -5/7

So it's second fraction

5/-7

= ( 5 x 9 ) / ( -7 x 9 )

= 45/-63

= 5 / -7

As we know smaller negative digit is greater than positive digit

So ,

- 5 / 7 > 5 / -7

Enjoy !!
