Ice is heavier as Ice is a solid and the molecules of Ice are very close but the molecules of water are. not close .

HEYA DEAR MATE.....THAT'S UR ANSWER

From density=mass/volume, 'm' is directly proportoinal to 'd', when 'v' is same for all.Since, density of water is greater than ice. Therefore, mass of water is greater than ice. Hence, weight of water is also greater than ice. Water is heavier. That's why ice floats in WATER.
