so now if i calculate the force of both the materials
f = mgh
lets take that
height as 1m from the ground
for paper
force = 1500gm × 9.8 × 1
force = 14700N
for silver
force = mgh
force = 2000 × 9.8 × 1
force = 19600N
silver exerts more force
than paper on ground
so paper is lighter than silver
because it exerts less force due to less mass and the gravitational pull for all objects is same (9.8m/s)
paper has less mass
hence paper is lighter.
