Answer:

the weight of an object is determined by the gravitational pull of earth

the average pull of earth is 9.8m/s

so now if i calculate the force of both the materials

f = mgh

lets take that

height as 1m from the ground

for paper

force = 1500gm × 9.8 × 1

force = 14700N

for silver

force = mgh

force = 2000 × 9.8 × 1

force = 19600N

silver exerts more force

than paper on ground

so paper is lighter than silver

because it exerts less force due to less mass and the gravitational pull for all objects is same (9.8m/s)

paper has less mass

hence paper is lighter.
