Perimeter of square of side 's' is 4s

here square perimeter is 4s=4(14/3)=56/3----------(1)

perimeter of rectangle of length l and breadth b is 2(l+b)

here rectangle perimeter is 2[(26/5)+(17/5)]=86/5-------------(2)

from (1) and (2)

(1)-(2)

56/3-86/5=22/15

hence perimeter of square is more than rectangle by 22/15

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of square = 4 2/ 3 → 14/3 meters

4*14/3 = 56/3 meters

Perimeter of Rectangle = length = 5 1/5 = 26/5 Breath=32/5= 17/5

2 ( 26/5 +17/5) =2 (26+17)/5

2(43/5) + 2× 43 /5 =86/5

Therefore Perimeter of square =56/3

Perimeter of Rectangle = 86/5

Difference = 56/3-86/5

280/15 > 258/15

(280-258)/15 =22/15

Hence square perimeter is more than rectangle by = 22/15
