When talk about bulky group like any alkyl Group (open chain) then cis is less stable because when it's on the same side then it's unstable as there is steric hindrance.

Heyaa folk,
Trans is more stable than cis, however both are isomers.
This does because of the unfavourable increasing of steric interactions of the substituents in the cis isomer.
