Option A)  Slow stretching

Slow stretching way to treat sore muscles.

  • Stretching sore muscles will increase blood flow and aid in lactic acid breakdown. The important thing is to stretch extremely gently in order to prevent further harm to the muscle groups.
  • Muscle injury, which can but is not necessary for muscle growth, is associated to discomfort in the muscles. In other words, you don't need need to be painful after every workout unless your purpose is to feel sore.
  • Muscles are gradually lengthened across the whole range of motion of a joint with slow, prolonged stretching, and the ultimate position is held for a brief period of time. Because the stretch receptors are not activated, the muscles relax, allowing for a larger stretch with a lower risk of damage.
  • Exercises that involve static stretching (slow-sustained stretching), in which the muscles are progressively extended across the whole range of motion of a joint.
  • Stretching, yoga, or tai chi movements for the main muscle-tendon groups, including the neck, shoulders, chest, trunk, lower back, hips, legs, and ankles, should be performed by healthy individuals at least twice a week. You should perform each stretching exercise for a total of 60 seconds to achieve the best benefits.
