Root 2-1=root1
i.e.1
But root 3 - root 2
1.73-1.41
=.32
Therefore root 3 - root 2 is smaller

Mp52003: by rationalisation?
nehajaglan: hey rationalisation can make its denomimator irrational
nehajaglan: root2-1×root2-1÷root2-1 =2-1÷root2-1=1÷root 2-1
