Which is smaller? The 5√10 (Fifth root of 10) or 4√-9 (Fourth Root of -9) and why? Give an explanation worth 2 marks. This question is from Class 9 Maths from Chapter 1: Number Systems.

Answer:

In general, 4√-9 ( Fourth root of -9) doesn't exist. Root on any negative number is called a Complex Number.

However, 5√10 ( fifth root of 10) is a positive number.

Normal comparison between both of them is difficult.

But, we can say that 4√-9 is smaller.
