(i) The total number of electrons is 10 in case of Na+and 11 in case of Na, while the number of proton is same i.e 11 in both the case

(ii) uncharged Cl is smaller than Cl-ion. In general when an element becomes charged the anion will get the bigger and the cation will get smaller compared to the uncharged element
