Explanation:
1. BYJU’S – BYJU’S IAS training program is unique in that it is the only coaching institute that offers a tablet course. Their tablet course is really comprehensive. Apart from syllabus coverage, they also have a very good standard/quality. Their video lectures are amazing. You can subscribe to their YouTube channel and get a glimpse of their video lectures. They have some amazing content on all the major subjects like polity, economy, environment, history, etc. They also have a good current affairs focus which is really important for the IAS exam. Another unique and impressive feature of Byju’s is that they have a mentorship program. In this, each student is given a mentor whom he/she can call and talk to for clearing doubts and queries.
2. Mrunal: Mrunal offers good study material on most GS subjects especially history and economy. They also give current affairs material. Even though their content is good, it must be noted that they are not a dedicated IAS learning platform. They offer coaching for CDS, NET, PO and other exams on the portal.
3. Unacademy: Unacademy offers free videos online for IAS aspirants. Some of their videos are really good. Started by Roman Saini, who bagged AIR 18 in the UPSC exam, it is a good platform for those who are looking for free content.
4. Insights on India: Insights is also a well-known name in the UPSC arena. In my opinion, they have a good current affairs content. They also offer good answer writing practice through their tests which include ethics case studies also.
5. Clear IAS: Clear IAS is also a good enough online source. It offers notes and study material for all major subjects like history, geography, polity, science and environment.
