Answer:

Reflex action is mainly controlled by the central nervous system. Among three parts of the nervous system, cerebellum controls its action. Reflex action is the kind of impulse that travels to and from the spinal cord. Spinal cord is the kind of neural pathway in which this action travels.

Answer:

Reflex reactions are controlled by reflex arcs and spinal cord controls the reflex arcs.

A stimulus creates a sensation in the brain when the information of stimulus travels through the brain.Touching a hot object is also an example of stimulus. When we touch anything hot  the information is travelled to the brain through peripheral nervous system. The peripheral nervous system consist of two types of neurons namely sensory neuron and motor neurons. Sensory neurons are located in the sensory organs and  are capable to detect stimuli from light, sound touch etc. These sensory neuron pass the information of stimuli to spinal cord and then to the brain. Then the motor neurons carry message  from the brain, through spinal cord and finally to the muscles. Then the muscles contracts and immediately we take away our hand from the hot object.
