Which is the correct increasing order is boiling point of following compounds : 1) 1-bromoethane 2) 1-bromopropane 3) 1-bromobutane 4) bromobenzene​

Hi friend

Correct order would be

4>3>2>1

The boiling point is decided by extent of bonding since all other molecules above are non polar so they have only dipole dipole interaction.

Greater the no of c

Carbon atom greater will be attraction and higher the boiling point.

Since Bromobenzene has dipole moment greater that all of the chain compounds hence it has highest boiling point.

In the other molecules greater the no. of Carbon atom greater will be attraction and hence higher boiling point .
