The East-West corridor is the part of the Golden Quadrilateral project. It has a length of 3,300 kilometres. Jhansi is the central junction between the North–South and East–West Corridors. Nagaon, city in Assam is the terminal end point of the east-west corridor. The corridor passes through the National Highway ie. NH 37 (Guwahati–Nagaon) & NH 36 (Nagaon–Dabaka).
