It is the major bank tributaries of Brahmaputra River.  


Also, it can be considered as the trans-boundary river which flows through various countries such as Bangladesh, Bhutan and India.  


The overall length of this main river is about 370 kilometres.


Also, it covers the overall length of about 610 kilometres in only Bhutan.
