Refer to the attachment for the graph of  { \pmb { \orange { \bf y = ⌊x⌋ – 2 }}} . It is simply , a Smallest Integer function :)

Like , If you put the value of  { \pmb { \orange { \bf { x }}}} , you will obtain the smallest Integer function . Let's see example :-

At , x = 1 ;

  •  { \pmb { \orange { \bf y = ⌊x⌋ – 2 = ⌊1⌋ - 2 = -1 }}}

At , x = 2 ;

  •  { \pmb { \orange { \bf y = ⌊x⌋ – 2 = ⌊2⌋ - 2 = 0 }}}

At , x = - 5 ;

  •  { \pmb { \orange { \bf y = ⌊x⌋ – 2 = ⌊- 5⌋ - 2 = - 7 }}}
