Which is the hottest and coldest layer of the atmosphere. Please specify whether it is troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, Ionosphere or exosphere. I have an exam tomorrow. Please help.

The ozone layer is warm because it absorbs ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun. The mesosphere is the layer above the stratosphere.
