Which is the initiator of food chain of ecosystem ? options: 1)consumer 2)decomposer 3)zooplankton 4)producer 5)all of them ....... the answer sheet says 5) but I think it will be 4)....Guys can u give the right ANS and a proper explaination..?

Hi..

Ur answer is producers..

As sunlight is trapped by green plants which acts as producers as they make their own food..

Other organisms do depend on these plants ie - primary consumers and in the food chain at every tropic level only 10% of energy is passed of total..

And somes secondary consumers and then tertiary ... decomposers
