India has hundreds of rivers in all over the country. The largest river basin in India is Ganga. Ganga is the longest river in India as well which originates in Uttrakhand and flows to Bangladesh where it is emptied into the Bay of Bengal.
The smallest river basin is Avari which flows through the state of Rajasthan. It is only 90 Kms long.
