cotton is the least disastrous fibre on catching fire. cotton is natural fibre which is polymer of glucose. cotton helps to prevent on catching fibre. that's why our parents use cotton clothes in kitchen.

well, in question there are three options
1) Reyon (2) nylon and (3) cotton { natural fibre which is polymer of glucose}
and ask, which is the least disastrous fibre on catching fire.

so, option (3) should be correct.

Reyon is artificial silk. which is good to use in summer season. very comfortable. it is similar to silk. and also Reyon is formed with help of natural fibre. due to this Reyon is also known as semisynthetic fibre.

Nylon is fully artificial fibre made by human. it is one of the strongest fibre and useful to making tents , toothbrushes , sleeping bags etc..

Answer :-

<> Cotton :- Cotton is the fibre that is least prone to catch fire. There are many other such many fibres but cotton top most the list here.

polymer (Rayon, cotton, glucose) is the least disastrous fiber on catching fire as it is natural fiber present in wood pulp.

There are many other least fibres

1. Rayon:- Rayon is a manufactured fiber made from regenerated cellulose fiber.

2. Nylon:- Nylon was the first commercially successful synthetic thermoplastic polymer.
