Purkinjee fibre

~ Purkinjee fibre is a special type of conducting fiber which conduct electric signaling impulse from atrioventricular node (AVN)

~ it simultaneously activate the left and right ventricles by directly stimulating the ventricular myocardium.

~ if it get degenerate then Problems arise in both the AV node and in bundles of Purkinje fibers can interrupt excitation and prevent effective ventricular contraction.
