6 BAMS. BAMS stands for Bachelor ofAyurvedic Medicine and Surgery. Unlike MBBS, this course focuses on concepts of Ayurveda and Ayurvedicmedicine. After completing this course, one will earn the title of Doctor (Ayurveda).
