Platinum is the ductile metal.

Metals are the elements which are ‘electropositive in nature’ and also show certain properties such as malleable and ductile in nature. Malleable metals can be drawn in sheet whereas ductile metals can draw to wire.

The ductile nature of metal is due to bonding between electropositive metal ions and electrons. Platinum is also called as ‘Noble metal’ due to shiny nature and can easily make in wires.
