The most reactive metal is Cesium.( Francium isn't considered as it is radioactive).

Cesium has the least ionization energy, so it is the easiest for its atom to lose it's seingle valence electron.

The most reactive non-metal is Fluorine.

Fluorine only needs one electron for its stability, and due to its small size, the incoming electron is easily attracted.

Cesium belongs to Group 1, period 6 and Fluorine belongs to Group 17, period 2.

Hope it helps.
