Yo!

Here's the answer! :)

Dinosaurs are REPTILES,who were alive and thriving in the TRIASSIC PERIOD( from 243 to 233 million years ago. They lived for such a long time. That's AWESOME! ;P)

It has been discovered that-->"PROSAUROPODS" are the oldest species of dinosaurs yet discovered. The fossils were found in MADAGASCAR,and they're about 230 MILLION,years old. (That quite something, right? :O)

Before this specie was found, there was an another dinosaur fossil, called as-->EORAPTOR. It was found in Argentina, and is about 228 MILLION years old.

#It's really quite a mystery how the dinosaurs died. Some say that a large asteroid came in contact with Earth, and left such a GREAT IMPACT,that it destroyed major life forms, such as the DINOSAURS.

Hope that this helps!
