In my opinion electroplating is the most common application in chemical effect of electric current.Electroplating is a process by which a layer of other expensive metal is putted on other cheap metals.Electroplating is done in jewellery shops and in the utensil stores also and at many other places.

Other application is ELECTROLYSIS.
