Principle of operation:
The steam temperature is a function of the steam pressure. Water boils at 100° C at 1 atm., but at other pressures the boiling point changes. At its boiling point, the steam condenses in the coils and gives up its latent heat.

Answer:
Drying is the operation subsequent to evaporation
Explanation:
- In evaporation, this process can occurs at ambiant temperature (below the boiling temperature of the liquid). Some molecules present near the surface of the liquid leave it due to thermal agitation. Of course some molecules of the gas phase can also join the liquid but as there is less of them, there is less and less liquid.
- In drying, you have a solid and a liquid (not of the same chemical nature) and you remove the liquid, for example by evaporation (maybe under vacuum or by heating). It requires that the solid does not sublimate under these conditions.
