Answer:
Respiratory system of a
- Rat- Rats inhale through their nostrils. The air is then brought through the pharynx and trachea to get to the lungs. The lungs are lined with alveoli, which help the rat to absorb the oxygen it needs.
- Cow- The opening from the pharynx leading to the continuation of the respiratorypassageway is the glottis. Midsagittal section of the head of a cow with nasal septum removed. The stippled area represents the pathway of air through the nasal cavity, pharynx, and trachea. The glottis is the opening to the trachea.
- Plant- Leaves consist of tiny pores known as stomata. Gaseous exchange occurs through diffusion via stomata. Guard cells regulate each of the stomata. Exchange of gases occurs with the closing and opening of the stoma between the inferior of leaves and the atmosphere.
- Insects- An insect's respiratory system is the biological system with which it introduces respiratory gases to its interior and performs gas exchange. Air enters the respiratory systems of insects through a series of external openings called spiracles
- Frog- The frog has three respiratory surfaces on its body that it uses to exchange gas with the surroundings: the skin, in the lungs and on the lining of the mouth. A frog may also breathe much like a human, by taking air in through their nostrils anddown into their lungs.
