Please verify the question once more, because when you solve the equations you don't get the required solution.

First, let's make the linear equations in its standard form...

18x - y = 1 ------ (1)

-5x + 4y = -13 ------ (2)

LCM (1,4) = 4

Eqn (1) × 4 ==> 72x - 4y = 4

Eqn (2) × 1 ==> -5x + 4y = -13

Add ==> 67x = -9

x = -9/67

Taking Eqn (1), y = 18x -1

---> y = 18(-9/67) - 1

---> y = -162/67 - 1

---> y = -229/67

X and Y aren't the solutions given in the options. Please do confirm if the question is correct....
