I think it's name is Electrophoresis technique cut the fregment of DNA basic of their size.......!

Electrophoresis technique is the one that genome of an organism can be split up into different size molecules.


The DNA samples are filled into the wells from one end of the gel and to this gel the electric current is supplied to pull the cells from the gel.


As the fragments of DNA are charged negatively, therefore they will be moving towards the positive electrode. The fragments of DNA are called as band that will represent the same size of DNA fragments.
