Let  sin^{-1}(\frac{5}{4}) = y

\Rightarrow \frac{5}{4}= sin y

\Rightarrow 1.25 = siny

Since we know that the range of trignometric function siny is [ 1,1 ].

But in the above equation we the value of siny is 1.25 which is greater than 1 and that's why not lie in the range of [ 1,1 ].

So it is not possible to find the value of sin^{-1}(\frac{5}{4}) .
