Answer:

Its a good question. People answered here very generally saying that the air flows from high pressure region to the low pressure region. I just wanna add few points to enhance the better understanding how actually it flows. The very first question came to my mind is

Explanation:

How does this high pressure region created?

To answer this, we know there are many forces which keeps us balanced in everyday life. For e.g, the rotation of the earth around the sun due to centripetal force.

The flow of air nothing but the wind originates due to the rotation of the earth and physicists say its a Coriolis force. Though there are many planets in the solar system, not every planets have the environment like earth. So, when earth rotates, the air which already exists in the atmosphere will also go in the direction of the earth, in the same way the sea water also flows. The Coriolis force exerts larger at the equatorial region of the earth and makes sea tides to go up and down which in results apply the force on air to flow from that region. Basically, this high pressure creates at the sea region and in sometimes this air also bring sea water (form of droplets) and puts into the region where the pressure is lower. This happens during monsoon season.
