To select all the cells to the right of the active cell in the row, hold down SHIFT, CNTRL and press the Right Arrow Key. You can then press the Down Arrow key to select all the cells below the active cell in the worksheet. You must use the mouse to select multiple ranges (two or more non-adjacent ranges).

In this question, we are asked to tell how we can select cells in a different area.
- Shift + space will choose the full row for any selection, whereas Control + space will select the entire column.
- These keyboard shortcuts function even when several cells are chosen.
- Use Control + Home on a Windows computer or Fn + Control + left arrow on a Mac to pick the first cell in a worksheet.
- To choose a cell, click on it. Or you can choose it and go to it using the keyboard.
- Selecting a cell and dragging the left mouse button depressed across adjacent cells will pick a range of cells.
- You may also choose the range with Shift + arrow keys.
- Holding Ctrl when selecting the cells allows you to choose cell ranges and non-adjacent cells.
