Which lens can be used for correction of hypermetropia

pramod7384: Shortsightedness is corrected using a concave (curved inwards) lens which is placed in front of a myopic eye, moving the image back to the retina and making it clearer. Longsightedness is corrected using a convex (outward facing) lens.

For Hypermetropia, a convex lens of suitable power is used. Eye glasses with converging lenses provide the additional focussing power required for forming the image on the retina.
