A converging lens (one that is thicker in the middle than at the edges) or a concave mirror is also capable of producing a virtual image if the object is within the focal length. Such an image will be magnified.

Concave mirror or converging lens

▪️ Concave mirror or converging lens forms a virtual image.▪️

Virtual Image is that image, which forms when the light rays appear to meet at reflection point. Generally, this type of images are formed at the Upright.

While, Real Image is that image, which is formed at the particular point of the mirror.

➡️ Concave mirror foms virtual image, because object is placed inside the Focal length of mirror. ▪️
