Two different materials, glass and diamond are used to make convex
lenses of the same thickness we know that diamond can bend light more

If refractive index of material of lens is more bending of light is more and focal length of lens decreases[ as Focal length is inversely proportional to Refractive index].
As, diamond can refract a light to a more extent, its refractive index is high and focal length is less.

Glass convex lens has more focal length
