hi dear here is the answer

Light-Regulated Stomatal Aperture in Arabidopsis. The stomatal pores of plant leaves, situated in the epidermis and surrounded by a pair of guard cells, allow CO2 uptake for photosynthesis and water loss through transpiration.

The visible light rays of the Sun causes the opening of the stomata

            Mechanism of opening of stomata

  • As soon as the plant undergoes photosynthesis ATP molecules are produced
  • These ATP molecules are responsible for the active transport of Potassium(K+) ions from the adjacent cells of the guard cells
  • This helps in osmosis . Water enters in the guard cell ( which became hypertonic ) and makes the guard cell turgid
  • This leads to opening of stomata.

Hope it helps you:-)
