Answers
Answer:
Akbhar. is the benevolent ruler
Answer:
Without a doubt, I would choose two great kings from my state of Karnataka. The Rashtrakuta king Amoghavarsha and the Mysore king Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV
Both of them were among the most benevolent rulers in Indian history. Amoghavarsha was a peace loving king who always tried to resolve the differences without waging a war. He ended the century old Rashtrakuta-Ganga conflict by forming a matrimonial alliance rather than using force. By this gesture, Gangas became the closest allies of the Rashtrakutas and stood alongside them till the very end.
He has been compared to the Puranic heroes like Shibi and Bali for his gesture in which he sacrificed his finger and offered to Goddess Mahalakshmi of Kolhapur so that a large scale calamity that threatened his people would not take place. He maintained cordial relations with all his allies and feudatories. Even with his enemies, he was most reasonable.
He was respected for his benevolence by everyone who knew him and many kings used to worship him for his god like behaviour. His 64 year reign is arguably the longest for any king in Indian history.
