I will choose electromagnet for industrial purpose because when I want to use the magnet I will on the magnet and when I don't want to use the magnet I will off the magnet otherwise magnet is on permanently which is not useful

These have aligned parts. These can be modified in any desired shape.

the magnetic field of these can be controlled at any time. The magnets can get high magnetic fields varying from -ve to 0 and positive.

So electromagnets are preferred.
