I choose permanent because in electromagnet we have to apply current to get magnet but in permanent magnet there is nothing a problem to insert current

The electromagnet can easily or can quickly changed its magnetic fields as comparison to permanent magnet .
Electromagnet is more powerful as comparison to permanent magnet.
It can be easily controlled by the current but permanent magnet aren't.
