The types of maps are as following:
1-Mercator
2-polar
3-azimuthal
4-conic
As the name suggests, the map used for measuring polar regions, is the polar map.
The polar regions encompass the areas north of Arctic Circle and south of the Antarctic Circle.
Thus, the Arctic encompasses the Arctic Ocean as well as portions of eight countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Russia, the United States, Canada, Denmark (the territory of Greenland), and Iceland.
