Which map of India will be bigger one drawn to a scale of 1 centimetre: 100
kilometres or one to a scale of 1 centimetre: 50 kilometres? Why?​

1st ratio that is 1cm :100 km will be larger as...........in the first 1 cm will be representing 100 km but whereas in second 1 cm will be representing 50 k.m.

The map drawn with scale 1 cm to 50 km will be bigger.

This is because the actual distance on ground in India will always remain constant. If the map is of scale 1 cm to 100 km will indicate 100 km (a large area) in only 1 cm. This map can show large areas on ground in very small area in map and the map will be small.

Whereas the map of scale 1 cm to 50 km shows 50 km (a smaller area) in 1 cm. This map will show smaller areas on ground in a larger area in map and the map will be large.
