the filament of bulb is made from tungsten. Tungsten has the higgest melting point of approx 3400 degree celcius
If a low melting point filament is used there are chances of bursting
so its good to use filament with high melting point

ScientistKhushi: Hey.... You can find the answer of this question on Brainly too
Egrewal: which ques
ScientistKhushi: How to attach pictures... I've also answered such question
Egrewal: okk okk bt plzz ans me here if u dont have any prblm
ScientistKhushi: Actually I can't attach a pic in comments so I told u to see that answer. I've shown a pic in it marking the symbol of a camera. If you are using the app then you can find the symbols just above your keyboard
Egrewal: actually i am nt using ph keyboard so for photo i must on my ph keyboard
ScientistKhushi: If you are using website
Egrewal: no i am using app
ScientistKhushi: Then you will see a symbol of a paperclip there. Click it
Egrewal: which symbol

The material used in the filament of the bulb is Tungsten. It is used because a lot of electricity passes through the filament and a lot of heat is produced. The filament should have a night melting point to prevent it from melting down and breaking the circuit. Tungsten has a very high melting point ( 3422° C). Hence it is used for making the filament of the bulb.
