FUNCTIONAL groups at Ortho positions -Ortho benzene would undergo faster Sn1 reaction

avi16031994: any explanation
avi16031994: why it will go
suresh203: for compounds with functional groups at ortho or para positions are more acidic and hence it undergoes sn1 reaction faster
suresh203: was it helpful ?
avi16031994: awesome frd... thanks
suresh203: hey mark me as the brainliest plz...

Hey dear,

● Answer -
1st compound => 1-bromocyclohexene

● Explanation -
- Speed of SN1 reaction depends on stability of carbocation.
- Stability of carbocation in decreasing order is 3° > 2° > 1°
- Carbocation of 1-bromocyclohexene is more stable (2° C-atom) than that of 2-bromocyclohexene (1° C-atom).
- Hence, 1-bromocyclohexene will give faster SN1 reaction.

Hope this helped...
