which metal are used in making jewellery?why?

Gold,Silver,Platinum. Because, these are three major hardest metals ever to be found on earth.If other metals were used it would easily get bended.

The most commonly used metals used for making jewellary are gold, silver and platinum. Gold, silver and platinum are noble metals. They are very less reactive. As a result, rarely corrosion occurs and hence do not loose their lusture or shine for a long time.
