(D) Csmetal is used in photoelectric cell.Photoelectric cell, which is also commonly called as electricEye, or Phototube, is basically an electron tubewith a photosensitive cathode that emits electrons when illuminated.

The anode collects the emitted electrons. When light shines on any metal, the electrons then can be ejected from the surface of the metal in a phenomenon known as the photoelectric effect.
