The metal which reacts with boiling water is IRON.
Iron reacts with the steam in order to give the Iron an oxide and hydrogen gas, this reaction is very much similar to that of Magnesium, but in this case, a lot of strong heating is required to have the results because the strong heating helps the iron powder burn in oxygen.
