which metal we prefer to use the bottom of the cooking vessel and why?

metal of high m.p & B.p so that we get a well cooked food

aluminium should be used at the bottom of the vessels.because due to its best heat conductivity and morover when it is exposes to the atmosphere it forms oxide layer whoch makes its look dull but provide further resistance to the corrosion.
