Least reactive metals will not react with hydrogen and do not give hydrogen gas .EX- Mercury is metal but don't react with hydrogen

Less reactive metals like copper ,mercury , silver , gold , platinum etc will not give hydrogen when reacting with dilute hydrochloric acid
