Evaporation is the process of changing of state from liquid to gas.
Dissolved solids can be separated by Evaporation.
For eg:- When a salt solution is boiled until all the water is evaporated and at the end, salt would be left behind, there we are able to separate salt from its solution.

Answer:
Rock salt is crushed into little pieces and added to water. The salt dissolves in the water but the earthy impurities are insoluble. Step 2. The solid sandy bits are separated from the salt solution using filtration.
