➡Firstly we have to heat the CuSO4 solution to a saturated solution. Then leave the solution in a beaker to cool it. When the solution is let to cool down, crystallization will occur. Normally we left it to form the crystals for 3 days. When you cool it, be sure to cover the solution so that no impurities will go inside. After that, filter the crystal out. Then put it on a dry filter paper and let it dry. The salt formed is blue in colour which is not a copper (2) sulphate salt. It is still hydrated (CuSO4.5H2O). To form the salt which is white in colour, you need to heat the hydrated CuSO4.5H2O salt strongly. CuSO4.5H2O --> CuSO4 + 5H2O.
